Overview and controller

UseHubTools (usehubtools.com) is an independent online tools project maintained in Brazil by the UseHubTools team. Most tools work without an account. A free account is optional and syncs favorites, recent activity and compatible projects across devices.

This policy describes the data the site actually uses. Contact usehubtools@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.

Files and tool inputs

Most tools process images, text, lists and documents locally in your browser; those files are not uploaded to the UseHubTools server. Each tool page explains when an exception applies.

Tools that query external services send only what the task requires, such as a postal code or domain, a URL to inspect or shorten, or a project you explicitly save to the cloud. Do not enter confidential information into fields intended for public links.

Account and cloud sync

When you create an account, we handle your name, email, optional phone number, sign-in provider, verification status and technical session details such as device, IP address and access dates. Local passwords are stored only as secure hashes; we cannot read the original password.

Signed-in users can sync favorites and recent tools. Full projects are sent to the cloud only by tools that display a “Save to cloud” option, currently Kanban and Checklist. Without an account, these details stay in local browser storage.

Newsletter and communications

Newsletter signup is separate from an account and requires a voluntary action. We use the address for product news, launches and updates. You can unsubscribe through the link in an email or the unsubscribe page. Deleting an account also removes a newsletter subscription tied to the same address.

URL shortener and metrics

When you create a short link, we store the target URL, optional title, code, creation date and a technical management credential. On each visit we record measurement data such as date, referrer, device type, browser and a reduced or protected form of the network address. This powers the click dashboard.

Short links owned by an account are removed when that account is deleted. Do not use the shortener for unlawful, deceptive, malicious or rights-infringing content.

Cookies, advertising and consent

Strictly necessary cookies keep sessions, language, preferences and security working. With permission in the site notice, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity measure pages, clicks, performance and browsing patterns. Clarity may create heatmaps and session recordings; sensitive fields should be masked. Reopen this choice through “Cookies” in the footer.

Google AdSense may use cookies or identifiers to measure and, when allowed, personalize advertising. Where required, advertising choices are presented separately through Google’s certified consent management platform. You can also manage personalization in Google Ads Settings.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare (delivery and security), Render (API), Supabase (database), Brevo (email), Google (sign-in, Analytics and AdSense) and Microsoft Clarity (experience analytics). Each provider handles data under its own terms and safeguards, and some may process data outside Brazil.

Retention, deletion and your rights

We retain account data while the account is active and technical records as needed for security, abuse prevention and legal duties. Regular users can delete their account and linked cloud data from “My account”. Browser-only data can be removed in browser settings.

Where applicable, you may request confirmation, access, correction, portability, information, objection or deletion under the GDPR or LGPD. Email usehubtools@gmail.com from the account address; we may verify identity first.

Security and children

We use HTTPS, password hashing, revocable session tokens and access controls. No system is infallible, so avoid sending unnecessary or sensitive data. The service is not directed to children and we do not knowingly seek minors’ data without appropriate authorization.

This policy may be updated. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
