How to verify the result
A useful tool should let you verify its output. Start with a small test, keep the original and only then use the result in production. The scenario below helps catch problems before you copy, download or share anything.
Practical check
Look up a known Brazilian postal code and compare street, district, city and state with recent mail; some fields may be empty.
What this tool does not replace
Results depend on the input and browser support. Review fields, units and final format; the tool is not a substitute for professional analysis when a decision has legal, financial, medical or security consequences.
Data handling
This tool sends only the required query to the backend or named provider to deliver the result. Avoid confidential data and read the Privacy Policy for retention and metrics.

Full address in seconds
Type the 8 digits of the CEP and the tool returns street, district, city and state, plus the municipality IBGE code and the area code — all formatted and ready to copy with one click.
Official, up-to-date data
The lookup uses the public Brazilian postal database (via ViaCEP), with nationwide coverage. Fields that do not apply to the CEP (such as complement) are hidden automatically for a cleaner result.
Free and no sign-up
No account or install required. The lookup runs right in your browser, free and unlimited.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to type the dash in the CEP?
No. Just type the numbers and the mask formats it automatically (00000-000). Pasting the CEP with or without the dash also works.
Where does the address data come from?
From the public Brazilian Correios CEP database, queried through the ViaCEP service, covering all of Brazil.
What is the IBGE code shown?
It is the municipality code per the IBGE, widely used in electronic invoices and management systems to identify the city.
Why are some fields missing?
When a field comes back empty in the database (for example, complement), it is hidden to keep the result clean and easy to read.
